1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern your purchase, download, access to, and use of any digital product, workbook, training module, resource, or related material supplied by CareWise (“Products”).
By purchasing, downloading, accessing, or using any CareWise Product, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not purchase or use our Products.
2. About CareWise
CareWise provides digital self-learning educational materials designed to support learning and professional development in aged care and related care environments.
3. Products
All CareWise Products are digital products delivered electronically. Product formats may include, but are not limited to:
• PDF workbooks
• Downloadable training resources
• Guides, templates, and supporting materials
Unless otherwise stated, Products are sold as self-paced educational resources and do not include live teaching, direct supervision, coaching, accreditation, or formal professional registration.
4. Licence Grant
When you purchase a CareWise Product, you are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable licence to use that Product only as expressly permitted by these Terms.
A single-user licence permits:
• Personal use by the individual purchaser for their own learning or professional development
• Storage of the Product on the purchaser’s personal devices
• Printing of one copy for personal reference, unless otherwise stated
A multi-user or organisational licence permits internal use only within the scope expressly purchased or agreed in writing.
Purchase of a Product does not transfer any copyright, ownership, or intellectual property rights to the purchaser.
5. Prohibited Use
Unless CareWise has given prior written permission, you may not:
• Reproduce, copy, distribute, or share any Product in whole or in part
• Email, upload, or otherwise circulate Products to other individuals
• Resell, sublicense, rent, or commercially exploit any Product
• Use a single-user Product in group training, classroom teaching, or staff development sessions
• Modify, adapt, translate, rebrand, or create derivative works from a Product for redistribution
• Remove, obscure, or alter any copyright, trademark, or proprietary notice
6. Multi-User and Organisational Use
Care homes, employers, training organisations, agencies, NGOs, and other institutions wishing to use CareWise materials for more than one learner, staff group, or internal training programme must obtain an appropriate multi-user or organisational licence.

7. Prices, Payment, and Taxes
All prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout. Unless otherwise stated, prices do not include any taxes, duties, levies, bank charges, or currency conversion costs that may apply in your location.
Payments are processed securely by our third-party e-commerce and payment service providers. CareWise does not directly store or process payment card details.
By making a purchase, you confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method.
8. Delivery
Products are delivered electronically after successful payment confirmation, usually by download link, account access, email, or other digital delivery method provided at checkout.
You are responsible for:
• Entering a correct email address
• Checking spam or junk folders
• Ensuring your device can open the file format supplied

9. Refunds
Because CareWise Products are digital and are usually made available immediately after purchase, refunds are generally not available once a Product has been downloaded, accessed, or delivered electronically, except where required by law.
Refund requests may be considered in cases such as:

• Technical failure preventing access to the Product
• The Product delivered being materially different from its description

10. Educational Use and Professional Responsibility

It is the responsibility of each user, employer, and organisation to ensure that any use of CareWise materials is appropriate to the learner’s role, scope of practice, workplace policies, supervision requirements, and applicable local laws and regulations.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
CareWise aims to provide accurate, useful, and well-prepared educational materials. However, all Products are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, CareWise makes no guarantees, warranties, or representations regarding:
• Fitness for a particular purpose
• Uninterrupted or error-free availability

• Employment outcomes or certification outcomes
12. Limitation of Liability

Our Commitment
At CareWise we take pride in offering carefully prepared educational products and want customers to feel confident when purchasing from us.
Digital Product Policy
CareWise sells digital products that are typically delivered immediately or made accessible electronically after purchase. Because of this, refunds are generally limited once a Product has been downloaded, accessed, or delivered electronically.
General Refund Position
Refunds are generally not available for:
• Change-of-mind purchases
• Accidental purchases where the Product description was clear
• Inability to use the Product because the purchaser does not have compatible software or a suitable device, where the file format was clearly stated
• Dissatisfaction based solely on personal preference after access has been provided
This policy applies except where required by law.
Exceptions

Access Following Refund
If a refund is granted, your licence to use the Product ends immediately. You must delete any downloaded copies and stop using the refunded Product.
